Varna 26/7-18
Today we drive to Varna for an overnight stay at Hotel Aqua. We have agreed to have dinner with Roger and Luba in the evening. We take the trip to Varna and the botanical garden. A 6 km long park. A small mojito at the beach bar Cubo was refreshing.
On the way to Restaurant Europe in the evening, lightning and thunderclap start, of course with subsequent torrential rain. The streets flooded in a few minutes and we had to seek shelter. After a while it lies a bit so we take off our shoes and go with water to far up on the leg in some places. Wet and hungry we arrive at the restaurant. It puts no damper on the evening.
We ate lovely mussels and fish. A very pleasant evening where the conversation goes on all the time.
