Balchik 27/7-18
Today the trip goes to Balchik to visit Venke, who has a beautiful property there which she has restored over several years. The result is just amazing. We will live in the stable that she has turned into a small apartment. We met Venke via Roger Solbakke and have become a friend who is nice to visit.
We go shopping, because we will have a barbecue party in the evening. Roger & Luba are coming, as well as Ulla & David. Pleasant people from Stockholm who also have a house in Balchik.
Good food & drink with nice people beats aging. We’re having a good time 🙂
Roar launches the drone and takes an overview of the property. Little did we know that there was a military airport nearby. We noticed this when the drone began to operate after a certain height. The GPS signals were weak, whether this has to do with the airport is uncertain, but fortunately Roar managed to get control and led the drone safely down to the ground again. Wanted to take more film and photo, but found that it was best not to. Luckily got good photos and film of the property. Sent this to Venke. Hope she enjoys this.
