Varna 4/11-21
Today I was in Varna 08:30, half an hour before schedule. Just after I sent a message, both Eve and Tvsetan joined me to go to the Territorial Directorate of the National Revenue Agency. Here I had to sign an approval for the accountant to access, on my behalf, for her to be able to do the accountants for my company online. This is how thing works in Bulgaria. And since I was in Bulgaria, it’s better for me to do this personally. After that we went to a cafe restaurant just outside Tsvetan’s office to discuss some details about the process further. I totally forgot to take a picture of them, but the conversation just occupied the time. We also talked a lot about the differens between Norway and Bulgaria. This is of great value for me to understand Bulgaria much better, and to learn how things is working here.
When I came back to Byala, I took some time to pick up garbage in the park in front of the complex. I have done this before during my summer time periode. What’s strikes me is how it’s possible for the local people to leave behind garbage in the park after being there. We are talking about plastic garbage, cola box, cigarette boxes, and all kinds of garbage after staying in a park. When it comes to plastic garbage, this is something you can see everywhere. I hope Tomra will get some agreement with Bulgaria soon to start recycling to stop this kind of unnecessary pollution to our environment. This is also about mentality of the people, they don’t care. It’s sad to see..
