Byala 31/8-21
After breakfast with eggs and bacon we took a walk down to the beach in Byala to swim. Since the apartment is located on the plateau at the top of the city, there will be steep slopes down and long slopes up again. But it was refreshing with a bath. It is not what we do most of here in Bulgaria, although it is the most wonderful beaches both here and in Obzor.
After a delicious dinner at home, we were invited into the common area of the complex by four Bulgarian families who go on trips together occasionally. What we thought was a little trip to greet, turned over to be a proper (drunken) party with Bulgarian dance, song and a lot of rakia. Pleasant people all, big and small. Luckily the young people spoke English so we got to talk a bit together as well. They translated back to the parents.
