Varna and Primorkso 1/8-18

Today is the big day where everything is going to happen. All papers must be prepared by the lawyer. Money must be transferred to 9 owners.

We are offered to join, but we choose to give up and drive to Primorsko to visit Bente and Sarko and their two children Maria and Julian. We have given Dobrinka our broker ‘power of authority’ to complete the purchase. We are going to Varna on Friday to ‘close the deal’ with LD properties.

They work more efficiently without us. Translation takes time, they have to hire a third party, or a publicly approved interpreter, who reproduces everything from Bulgarian to English. So after a late breakfast we drive to Primorsko.

There we have lunch at a Chinese restaurant, and get a pretty enjoyable view of those who run the restaurant. They had not been rewarded for either good service or pace. Impossible to describe, they are not unusual or anything like that, just very whimsical. The food is yummy so it weighs up 🙂

A little later we meet the Tonchev family and another family who have rented the apartment where we will stay for 2 days. Pleasant people.

We rented this apartment 2 years ago, when we could see straight to the outdoor cinema from the terrace.

Now a new hotel is on the way. A bit strange building style, but what is good is that all construction activities are stopped in the summer.

In the evening there will be some rakia, Bulgarian tapas in Bente & Sarko’s apartment. Time goes by so fast when you are enjoying yourself, so it is 01.30 before we go to bed. Last night on a month’s holiday.
