Today has been a busy day in Varna. Not much of a 17 May celebration, other than these nicely-dressed girls from Asia somewhere. Instead, it was many hours in the office of lawyer Tsvetan, translator and notary. But we got a break where we walked a bit in the pedestrian street in Varna, ate at Happy, before we had to return to continue the paperwork. Much longer day than expected, but that’s the way it is. Now we sit in the apartment and relax a bit before we go out to eat.
Waking up without having to get up to catch a train, i.e. bus for train as it is now, is pleasant……Even if it’s hot outside, we sleep well. The apartment itself is cold or cool. Mail ticks in from the dentist in Varna that the hours have been moved from 2 pm to 1 pm….

We go for a nice walk on the harbor promenade in Primorsko. A local artist has painted famous portraits on the rocks along the seafront. Everything from rock stars to mother Teresa.
