Afternoon and evening work in Solnik
Amazingly, there was a work session both afternoon and evening. And don’t you think it got dark quickly.
Waking up without having to get up to catch a train, i.e. bus for train as it is now, is pleasant……Even if it’s hot outside, we sleep well. The apartment itself is cold or cool. Mail ticks in from the dentist in Varna that the hours have been moved from 2 pm to 1 pm….
Today we have invited Vanjas family to an Norwegian lunch at Byala Residence, with food brought from Norway. They arrived with some beautiful flowers. Except for Plamen that is working in the Netherlands as an electrician. We brought with us different types of herring (pickled herring, tomato herring, spicy herring), smoked salmon, liver pie, shrimp…
Today I got some pictures of the demolition of the houses in Solnik. Then the first building prosess have started.
At 09.08 we drove to Solnik where Zdravka, a construction engineer from Varna, and Evgueni, together with his wife Roumi, were waiting for us. The building engineer named Svetlana had to inspect the farm to take aim and form an impression of the place. They discussed back and forth in Bulgarian, and Evgueni translated roughly….
After a night in a bad bed and little sleep, the mood was not at its best. We decide to go up to the farm to locate the other well, and the turtle pond on the map. We do not completely agree on the prioritization of what to do, as Jorunn wants to photograph flowers…
