Visit to Solnik Garden

On Friday 27 August we met Roger Solbakke in Varna. Always nice to have a chat with Roger. He has followed us from the first moment here in Bulgaria. We are now beginning to see an end of the twig waste that was made last fall. It was hot to work today, but in return we had brought grilled chicken and cold drinks. That kept the forces going. The drink remained cold in a bag of ice cubes.

Then we got a brand new washing machine in the complex anyway :-).

We drive to Byala, first to look at the apartments for sale in Byala Panorama Resort. Great apartments and very nice place. After that we meet Evgeni and go to Byala Residence. This is located a little more centrally, but maybe a little further to the beach. So this is not going to be easy….

At the time of writing, I sit in Byala with a glass of Martini Bianco and think that I am lucky to have this opportunity. To be able to plan early active retirement life in Solnik together with Roar. It will be good ? The last trees behind the mill are taken out, tired, dirty…

Today we will meet Maya from Bulgarian Home Care, then the trip goes to Solnik. Looking forward to checking the surveying and clearing of trees and shrubs that was done last fall.
