Status Svetlina 11/6-24

After the trip to Varna we drove to Solnik Garden. All houses is now gone and there is nothing much to see. But we still can feel the piece of being there.

After an fantastic weekend with Vanja and her family, with (as usual) great food from a fantastic chef, we all drove to Solnik to check the last work of the demolition of the houses and the cleaning of the plot for start construction the new house. Not sure when this last work was done, but…

We got up early when we were going to Varna to meet цветан (Tsvetan), our lawyer, and Здравка (Zdravka), a lady who will help us get approved building plans in Solnik. To our great delight and surprise, Eve was a translator. Very nice to see her again. The daughter of the broker Dobrinka who also…

Today, Tuesday, the day has been spent looking at different apartments in Byala. We need a place to be while the farm in Solnik is restored. Dobrinka & co has, as usual, done a very good job. Hard to decide.

We are now beginning to see an end of the twig waste that was made last fall. It was hot to work today, but in return we had brought grilled chicken and cold drinks. That kept the forces going. The drink remained cold in a bag of ice cubes.
