Meeting Maya in Varna
Today we are going to Varna to meet Maya from Bulgarian home care. They are very service friendly and does a great work at the Byala residence, which we are very happy for. before meeting Maya we located a flag store to buy some flags to sympathize for the Ukrainian people. Unfortunately they did not have the Norwegian flag
We then met Maya and located a coffee restaurant and sits outside in this warm weather. Today it’s the national day in Norway, but there is no track of any Norwegian with Norwegian flag in the pedestrian street in Varna.
She bring the booking sheet for my apartment to show us that the apartment in Byala is already booked all summer. That’s great.
We discuss a bit what to do with the almost rotten pergola, and we quickly agree that it needs to be replaced. But it can not be done until the season is over. Next week the summer season starts.
After the meeting with Maya, I had to locate the police office in Varna to pay for my traffic ticket last time I was i Bulgaria. This took some time, but finally I managed to pay it. A little overspeed (64 km/h) when entering the bright in Varna. 50 km/h is the limit, and very difficult to achieve when driving from 110 km/h down to 50 km/h in a short distanse. Anyway, I have to be more careful next time. But the bill was not that high, 50 lev is 250-260 NOK. I’m glad this was not in Norway 🙂
