Solnik village is situated in Northeast Bulgaria and is part of Dolni Chiflik Municipality, Varna Province. It is located at the foot of Eastern Stara Planina slopes, near the Dyulino Pass leading to Burgas. The village has a medical center, a church, three grocery stores, a café, and a hotel. All mobile operators have coverage in the area.
Solnik is famous for its private ethnographic complex which all tourist agencies in the Black Sea region include in their itineraries. The village used to be a part of a cycling tour from and to Varna.
Population of the village is 280 people, all Bulgarians as well as several foreigners.
